How can you contribute?
We are a 501(c)3 organization based in the Denver Metro Area extending to Aurora. Every year, we intentionally serve over 100 students with a 1:10 Mentor to Mentee ratio. Our 10-month curriculum aligns with the school year and is packed with new opportunities, activities, and projects to nurture the minds of our youth and expose them to what success could mean for them. We need financial support for our program, events, activities, supplies, and experiences for the youth.

Chinook Fund has proudly distributed over $5 million in grants since 1987, championing grassroots initiatives across Colorado. By pooling resources from the progressive community, we invest in vital social change efforts, including racial, economic, disability, immigrant, and LGBTQ justice. Our unique grassroots grantmaking process involves recruiting board and committee members directly from the communities we support, ensuring that are responsive to innovative ideas and emerging needs. We embrace the “risky projects that others may overlook, often leading to impactful funding down the line.
