Youth Leadership Cohort

Service Description

The YLC (Youth Leadership Cohort) is youth peer-advocate training program where youth gain 33 training hours in the areas of 5 Promotive Factors, Smoke, Vape, Overdose and Violence Prevention. Youth then engage in workshops and collaborative projects that address real- world challenges in their communities. Through a supportive environment, the cohort encourages participants to share ideas, build networks, and cultivate a sense of responsibility. By focusing on skill-building in areas such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, the Youth Leadership Cohort prepares young leaders to make a positive impact both locally and globally.
